The Benefits of becoming a member of CAGE GN are set out below: –

OVERVIEW

  • Provision of cost effective and flexible training, in some cases at reduced or preferential rates, to help meet individual and company needs
  • Advice and support with claiming CITB grants, including the preparation of training plans and updates on any grant scheme changes
  • A local forum that focuses on current training and legislative issues and builds links between members and associated construction organisations

  • Free entry to Open Evenings, at least 3 per annum, to members and their guests (cost to CAGE – £15 per head at 2015 rates)
  • One free place at the annual BBQ (cost to CAGE – £15 per head at 2015 rates)
    • Reduced member’s guests cover charge of £10
  • One free place at the AGM and Dinner (cost to CAGE – £40 per head at 2015 rates)
    • Reduced member’s guests cover charge of £20

*If members are classified as an SME (less than 250 employees) and providing that they also complete the quarterly returns, on time, and have paid their annual membership fee, they will also be entitled to the free / subsidised training utilising the CITB £25K of funding and the re-cycling of employer contributions, of up to £2,500 per annum per Member Company and up to £1,000 per individual per annum. Please note that we will charge an employer contribution of 50% for all courses costing over £150.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT OF MEMBERS?

  • To pay an annual membership fee – £100 for 2016
  • To complete a Quarterly Training Return (which underpins CAGE GN’s funding from CITB)
  • To attend at least one “event” p.a.
    • Steering Group meeting (bi-monthly)
